arket to buy a few things. Now there is not much in 
Macha....the hospital, the fires (where family members of patients stay), the market, the dam, Gideons (store with beer), few churches, and a few schools. The market is an interesting collection of "stores". Some people just come with vegetables from their gardens. The tomatoes are in piles and you can only buy a pile....you can't pick out individual items. Then there are some shipping containers that people have turned into shops. You never know what will be on the shelves....no guarantees! There are some clothing shops and even a place to buy bicycle parts.

ReplyDeleteHow difficult these six weeks must be for you, watching the suffering - and its acceptance. But, what an opportunity to help - and learn. The people of the pediatric ward are beautiful. Are there many you will miss?
