A Good Day!!

Today was such a good day! Such a difference from last week. Today Miranda brought balloons and the moms and kids went crazy, as you can see by the pictures. There were lots of smiles and laughing which is normally rare. Many of the kids are much improved and were discharged today! So updates! Jester is looking so much better. She is now going to the OR every day for cleaning and bandage changes. The chest wound is already smaller and looks like a normal child playing. Luse’s wounds are healing. She is still very sick but is doing better rather than worse since we placed the ng tube. The malnourished child room is half empty today! There were a bunch of kids that I pushed the doctors for more aggressive treatment and now it has paid off. Maybe my time here has meant to inspire the doctors and to remind them of what can be done.
