Kariba Vacation!!

So Lake Kariba was just the break I needed! We stayed in a circle hut that had 4 bunk beds. There was a house for the adults and the two guys stayed in a small hut next to ours. There was a swimming pool and outdoor bar with hammocks. And everywhere there was a gorgeous view of the lake. You could also see the islands and hills of Zimbabwe. In all the trees monkeys would bounce around and play. In the mornings, Mark and I would get up early to go down by the water when all the monkeys were out. I have some great photos and videos. We also saw lots of impalas, birds, crocodiles, ostriches. We went on a sunset cruise into the waters of Zimbabwe and saw wild zebras, a wild elephant with huge tusks, impalas, wildebeasts. But no hippos! The sunset was gorgeous but over so quickly! We also went on a tour of the largest crocodile farm in the world....suppliers of material for handbags, purses, and shoes. Oner 30 thousand crocs!!! I got to touch one!! All together, a good break!!!
